Self-Hosted AI Infrastructure & Security Hardening Lab
Building the Infrastructure to Prototype, Test, and Harden Before It Touches a Client System
Project Overview
Project Overview
Before we bring a new tool, container, or configuration into a client environment, we test it ourselves first. HillsEditor Services maintains its own self-hosted infrastructure — including a dedicated server for containerized AI services and a set of hardened Linux environments — so new technologies are evaluated and security-tested internally before they're ever applied to client work.
Approach & Benefits
How the Process Works
Containerized AI Services Infrastructure
- Self-hosted server dedicated to containerized AI tools for research and prototyping
- Used to evaluate applied-AI approaches — including document processing and LangChain/RAG pipelines — before client deployment
- Built and maintained using Docker and container-based deployment practices
Linux Environment Hardening & Security Baseline Testing
- Multiple Linux-based environments built and maintained, replicating several distributions
- Each environment tested against security scanning baselines
- Configurations validated for security hardening before they're recommended to clients
Continuous Technology Evaluation
- New tools, frameworks, and configurations are tested internally first
- Reduces risk when introducing new technology into a client's environment
- Supports DevSecOps and cloud-modernization engagements with hands-on-tested recommendations, not just documentation review
Ideal For
- Organizations planning cloud or DevSecOps modernization
- Teams evaluating containerization or Kubernetes adoption
- Government and enterprise clients requiring security-hardened configurations
- Organizations exploring applied-AI pilots who want a tested approach, not a first attempt
Let's Test Your Next Configuration Before It Goes Live
If you're planning a cloud, container, or AI rollout and want it validated in a hardened environment before it reaches production, let's talk.
Why This Matters for Your Modernization Project
- New technology is tested and hardened before it reaches your environment
- Security-scanning baselines applied consistently across environments
- Reduces risk and surprises during cloud/DevSecOps engagements
- Direct, hands-on experience with tools — not just theoretical familiarity
- Supports Drupal, cloud, and applied-AI service lines with a shared testing foundation
